Mike Marlin's second album "Man On The Ground" launch on 13th February 2012

In 2011 Mike Marlin has success release album “Nearly Man”, it's the first album, and was chosen as HMV ‘Next Big Thing’. He has performs a show to UK twice, and has roll out the show where he sing disco with dwarves. He ever vanishes for 3 months and result 11 songs which recorded in the undisclosed basement and succeed mastered in Abbey Road.

Mike was born on the 17th February 1961, when he record his first album he was 50 years old, but quarter of next year he has record the second album with the title " Man On The Ground". In this second album he works with Catherine Marks (his new producer). Marlin record what he has wrote and Catherine help him with providing a new form muse in the playing of her piano.

Mike just needs 362 days to release album Man on the Ground, after his debut-February 2011. But his tour was locked for 2012, and he completed new songs to meet his promise to release full length LP forever.

Man On The Ground recorded spontaneously and represents Marlin’s deeper sound, personal expressions, and drawing comparisons between Badly Drawn Boy and The National. The songs prioritizing push and pull to the tempo, stretch to vocals breaking point. Need to remember that the song is not a pop, because the album consists of subtle, sad, heartfelt and grand song. And all of songs are stories of a journey and what he feel in the journey was right.

Moreover release Man On The Ground on 13th February 2012, Mike Marlin will playing some acoustic gigs during January-February 2012 and will presenting his album in winner announcement of film competition on 15th February at Concrete London. Don't miss Man On The Ground show.
